One developer, several hundred websites, and a strong opinion about all of them. Here is the short version.
My name's Erin. I started building websites in 2008, back when a mobile version meant a second website and nobody agreed on anything. Since then I have worked inside big teams, watched good projects die in status meetings, and reached a conclusion: the fix was fewer people.
So now it is just me. One desk in Whanganui and fifteen years of knowing exactly where WordPress hides the bodies. I build fewer sites than a big team does, but each one gets all of my attention.
Shortcuts are how websites end up on my rescue list. I would rather build it once, correctly, than twice at your expense.
